As a Front Desk Manager on River Cruises, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the front desk operations onboard the cruise ship. You are the first impression of ANQOR and your role is crucial in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth guest experiences from check-in to check-out.
What will be your main tasks?
• Greeting guests upon arrival and providing them with a warm welcome.
• Training, supervising and managing all front desk staff to ensure a high level of professionalism.
• Organizing the front desk tasks and making the work schedule to always ensure adequate coverage.
• Handling inquiries, problems and special requests from guests promptly with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism to exceed expectations.
• Providing accurate and timely information regarding embarkation, ship activities, services, and amenities.
• Assisting, cooperating and coordinating with the Hotel manager, Cruise director and other Heads of departments to ensure high- quality guest service.
• Taking care of all necessary administrative tasks and payment processes in an accurate way.
• Being presentable and able to act as a good ambassador for the company.
Who are we looking for?
• At least 1 year experience in a relevant position, preferably within a cruise ship or hotel environment.
• Proficient in MS Office and Resco (or similar).
• Fluent in English in written and oral (an additional language like German is an advantage).
• Good organizational, interpersonal and managerial skills.
• Able to work in a team and independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Pro-active, discrete, reliable and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and customer oriented.
• Being resilient and tactful in their behavior.
• Willing to work flexible hours (evenings, weekends, holidays)
