Responsibilities

• Timely planning, preparation and service of all breakfast cookery for the Day Lounge buffet, as well as required for dining room menu service
• Preparing meal and fish ingredients, which includes seasoning of different meats and fish as well as washing, peeling and chopping vegetables and fruits
• Preparation of salads and salad dressing
• Discarding all expired and spoiled food items stored in the stock rooms, refrigerators and freezers
• Checking and controlling the temperatures of the refrigerators and freezers

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, Diploma in Culinary Arts will be considered as an advantage
• 2 –3 years of proven experience in the same position within the hotel or shipping industry
• Knowledge of Food Health and Safety regulations
• Ability to work under pressure Ability to work alone and as a part of a team
