Night Watch

As a Night Watch on River Cruises you will be responsible for the smooth operation of the hotel and accounting functions during the overnight hours. You will be in charge of promoting a comfortable and safe environment for our guests.

• Being the first point of contact for the guests and handling all guests’ requests, inquiries and concerns during the night in a friendly and helpful way to provide excellent customer service.
• Monitoring the front desk areas, performing regular security patrols during the night and responding to any safety or security incidents that may arise.
• Maintaining and updating guests’ accounts, sorting the guests checks correctly and accurately for a smooth payment operation.
• Communicating and cooperating with the Front desk manager and receptionist about guest requests and issues that occurred during the night shift.
• Responding to emergencies promptly and following the established procedures for guests’ safety and well-being.

• Some experience in a relevant position, preferably in the hospitality industry or on a cruise ship.
• Proficient in MS Office and in English (written and oral).
• Able to work independently during overnight hours.
• Pro-active, discrete, reliable and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and customer oriented.
• Being resilient and tactful in their behavior.
• Being able to remain calm under possibly stressful interactions.
