CABIN ATTENDANT

As the Cabin attendant you will be responsible for keeping the guests’ and crew cabins and public areas on board the ship impeccable and tidy. Your efforts and care will contribute immensely to the overall guest experience.

What will be your main tasks?

• Thorough cleaning and tidying of the cabins, bathrooms, toilets, indoor windows and public areas in accordance with the standardized set-ups and following the safety precautions (HACCP).
• Changing bed linens and towels according to the schedule or guest request.
• Taking care of special requests from guests and room service.
• Cleaning and servicing the guests’ cabins twice daily and ensuring all furniture and fixtures are in good condition and report any maintenance issues to the accommodation manager promptly.
• Collecting, disposing and possibly recycling of garbage.
• Restocking of supplies like toiletries and other essentials.
• Working closely with other housekeeping staff to ensure a smooth operation of the department and taking shifts in the laundry and assisting wherever help is needed.
• Providing help with the luggage on guests’ (dis)embarkation days.

Who are we looking for?

• Relevant cleaning experience in hospitality and/or on a ship is an advantage.
• Able to work fast and efficiently.
• Being able to communicate in English.
• Able to work in a team and independently.
• Willing to learn and open minded.
• Being flexible and able to work under pressure.
• Having a good work ethic and attention to detail.
